I have looked around corners like Solid Snake before.
Also, I once tried to roll around like Samus in morph ball form. It doesn't work too well when you're not encased in a metal sphere.

Is anyone aware a lot of these things they "got from video games" are just part of every day life, or otherwise sound like things done intentionally due to said video game, and not just because you subconsciously picked up the trait(s)?

I tapped my toes before playing OoT.
I peeked around corners before playing WW.
I jabbed people in the back if they stood right in front of me and blocked the way.

It's a part of life; Not because I'm mimicking a video game.

I walk around saying "Hail" to people like in Oblivion, but that usually does not go well...they think I'm like a Nazi, but its from TES I tell you!
Also when I play guitar (like the real not-plastic kind) I lift it up when I'm soloing (like I was playing the plasticy kind).
