I made a character in Argonnessen.

He's a Barbarian, name is Thymilph.

If anyone wants to smash some stuff, hit me up.

I don't remember where my characters are, so I'll try to track them down once I get the client reinstalled and my login info dug up. If that's a server where I don't have anything yet I'll probably roll a healing cleric. I think I've got veteran status too.

The only kind that people won't yell at you for. As a player of the tabletop version every now and again, where Cleric is "like Fighter but infinitely better*", this makes me sad. ;o;

* NOTE: This issue significantly lessened under Pathfinder rules.

EDIT: Rolled an Artificer and a Wizard, both half-orcs (whoo, playing against type~). Though I might scrap the Wizard and make a Half-Elf version instead. :x

Elf Sorcerer named Exeress on Argonnessen. Although I think I'm still in Tutorial Village.

People I ran into actually wanted more variety than a healbot, in the area of offensive spellcasting at least, though they didn't complain enough to say no to a dedicated healer. In P&P Clerics weren't as much healbots simply because there wasn't as much call for a party member actively topping off HP bars during fights; in an MMO setting the situation is rather different.

So it turns out all my old stuff is in fact on Argonessen, at the moment it looks like I've got a level 4 Ranger and Fighter in addition to my 12th level Cleric. Can always reroll a level 1 if it works out better for party balance. It also turns out that I've forgotten everything about this game. Herp derp.

Tutorialthos is actually somewhat long. It lasts up til upper 3rd to lower 5th level, depending on how thorough you are.

Well they've changed a bunch of stuff from back inna day. For example, I discovered last night that the noob crypt got totally overhauled.

We need to figure out some day/time that we all have in common to go ADVENTURING~.

Yes, the tilde was necessary.

Yeah, I saw that. It looks like the other quests on Tutorial Island are pretty well the same though. Haven't seen much of what's beyond yet.

Apparently I'm having a fair amount of difficulty catching anyone on. What times are you/would you normally be around?

Yeah, this is why we should all trade IM info. That way we can just send "Hey, want to play?" messages.
