It is one of the specific spells. You find it in the spellbook. It targets randomly, so you might bluescreen yourself if you are unlucky.

as if regularly dying doesn't make you drop them all, as if you actually -need- the items to begin with, etc.

there's no inventory, there's just random melee weapons that can be fun and random staves that have, for the most part, Magick-castable spells that you haven't discovered ingame yet. some of them have unique effects, though, but it's no big loss if you lose it.

newgame+ is the only way to play magicka anyway.

Regularly dying usually means your team maters steal your crap or they glitch in the ground so you cant get them back.

You will understand what kind of RPG this is when you get through the first act. It can best be described as "silly".

Fixed. Magicka's an action game, there's no RPG elements. Your strength is determined by your skill and the spell combinations you select.
