So I've never been big into FE, but I really liked PoR and RD when I played them. I want to dig into the series a little more, and some guy on /v/ suggested I play 6 and 7. He said I would get more out of 6's story if I played 7 first since it's a prequel. Is this a good suggestion or should I play them in order? Or should I start with a different game entirely? Give me opinions.

personally I would suggest playing prequel before the original
because I kind of hate prequels

6 is hard as dicks btw. the FEs have gotten progressively easier as they go on.

Started 7 and I'm up to chapter 3. Pretty good so far, but it's only the beginning and I only have 5 units, so still a long way to go I'm sure. Any units that can just completely wreck everything that I should look forward to? I swear, by the end of RD Neph could kill anything and everything.

Jaffar's Silencer is awesome when it goes off but that's true for any assassin.
Hrm.. I can't really remember off the top of my head, it's been awhile. However, I love Warriors so Bartre (yes) and Dorcas are awesome.

Also Pent. ...If that's in 7. I might be thinking of 8 (Sacred Stones).
