I want to reserve a spot, but can we have 2 barbarians?

If not I can roll Cleric.

Haha, I normally play something like cleric. But today I was: Hm, let's do something different: SMASH EVERY DOOR BARBARIAN!
I'll let you have barbarian if you want it, and I can play cleric.

So let's see we have
1-2 barbarians or clerics
1 potential fighter
1 thri-kreen rogue (I can't wait for 4 weapon sneak attacks, or dual wielding bows)

Though, nothing is set in stone 'til you post a character sheet. For all I know you'll make a bard at the last second.
And no it doesn't need to be some official character sheet so long as you post all the info you'd put there anyway it's fine.

If anyone wants an official character sheet, Mythweavers is a good site to use.

It's super handy and helps you with some of the math and whatnot.

Also LordSeth, it looks like a x2 Barbarian Smash combo is a possiblity.

Could be fun.

If there are too many people I might just drop out. I already have two games I'm playing on another website, and I'm barely interested in either of those. I needed something fun I could do on a worthless laptop, so I signed up, and right afterwards I got a new desktop computer for Christmas, so I've kinda been busy playing various PC games I couldn't before.

I'll see though.

Probably because druids are broken in 3.5 DnD.

I think I might join in. I'm kind of new to it but I'd like to try. One thing I gotta know though is how are we gonna do this? Webcam? Tinychat? Smoke signals? My situation is kind of limited so if it requires a lot of bandwidth or quick action type stuff I'll have to pass.

With that said, I'm gonna go look at character building now.

Smoke signals of course. But if you have no matches or lost your tinderbox, either post your actions here or PM me something.

If we do this, they must be Barbarian Blood Brothers or something. Hopefully just as alliterative.

Alright, cool. I think I'm gonna try a gnome bard. I always enjoy support classes.

And one more thing, for the point buying thing are we adding racial bonuses before or after we spend our points?

I'd like to join, if there's space.

I kinda want to learn to play, and this might be the best opportunity.

BTW, how will turns and updating occur? Will it just be like a sporadic game of tag or will we need to try to get a set time to try to get everyone on at once?

Turns, huh?
1. I roll initiative for everything and list turn order
2a. If an NPC goes first I do their turn(s).
2b. I list in my post, in spoiler tags, each enemy's AC/saves, for later use (honor system).
3. You state your action/target, and if it needs a roll you roll it (honor system). Then, you look at the enemy's ac/save/whatever you are going against, and if it's a hit/success/etc, you go on to roll damage/activate effects/etc.
4. Next turn

An example
My post:
Kobold 1, potato chip replacing an actual miniature, Johny

Kobold 1 moves up, attacks and misses.
P. Chip gathers it's focus (some vague wording for "it's preparing a full round action/it ain't doin' nothin'")
Kobold HP 12 AC 15 F 3 W 0 R 3
P. Chip HP 40 AC 4 F 40 W 2 r 0 (These numbers will be in spoilers and maybe farther apart)

Your post:
I attack P. Chip with my +1 beer stein, attacking it's AC for 24, I hit and do 75, killing it, then move toward the Kobold.

My post:
Kobold runs, provoking an attack of opportunity.

Got enough of a picture? And if anyone takes too long for a turn I reserve the right to send them farther back in the round.

Again, Honor System. I don't expect you to look except once you've rolled.
