Does anyone know any good soul calibur guides? I've never played before, but with 5 coming out tomorrow I'd like to try.

there's not really a 'guide' per se. the best thing you can do with soulcalibur is just read the manual and then head into practice mode.

also I got a reminder phone call from gamestop to pick soulcalibur up tomorrow. I am excited.

I think I might pick my Soul Calibur up tonight. Talked with my manager and since FF XIII-2 comes out tomorrow as well there were enough pre-orders to warrant a midnight release. I don't normally go to midnight releases, but Soul Calibur is one of my oldest loves so I'll probably go.

Also, does anyone play their fightan vidya on the PS3? I feel like I'm the only one and it's kind of a bummer to talk about the games coming out and then not being able to play them with anybody here.

Oh man, I just played against some Asian kid at the Game Center in UMVC3 and completely bodied him with my Firebrand/Skrull/Hulk team. He was hella salty and kept blaming the stick even though it's a brand fucking new MLG TE stick they got a month ago. He was complaining that my characters were safe and cheap even though he was using Wesker/Sentinel/Dorm. Stay free, salty Asian kid. Kappa
