If you place it at bedrock, the draw distances makes it so that even normal torches have little effect, also if it's dark make it out of obsidian, becuase creepers.

They had placed so few torches that most of the maze was pitch black

It's going to probably get brighter the higher you get and the darkness really doesn't matter, since the area you see is very small anyway. Turns and twists everywhere.

Well, you might want to keep it lit while you're still building it. Otherwise you're going to have Endermen and Creepers making a mess of things.

Are you going to set up Towny to prevent people from wrecking the maze?

Randomly burying a couple dozen sets of continuously playing note blocks isn't big and it isn't clever...

I did that on the first AZ server underneath Noff's shop. It was pretty funny for a few minutes, then I took them down because they were driving ME insane, too.

I was wondering if we could make a level of the maze that's completely glass as you can't see individual glass blocks through a glass block

Allowed it as long as they didn't interfere with anyone's existing structures. They can be located via any two diagonal yellow flowers.

[quoteI was wondering if we could make a level of the maze that's completely glass as you can't see individual glass blocks through a glass block][/quote]

that was pretty much the whole idea of the cloud levels.

here's a proposal:

each time we switch building materials for the tower, we also switch the type of challenge.

so we could have the basic mazes in the hole we dug, then when we hit the nether brick, we can make it like super hostile or something, then stone brick we can make it puzzles or some kind of riddly stuff, and then when we hit cloud we can make it majoritally jumping puzzles and glass mazes.

or something

They interfered with the game's sounds, so not allowed. Already found and disabled.
