Maybe this kind of self-image/paranoia based humour is something girlos suffer more from than boyos (and so can relate to or otherwise 'get' this comic).

Although I DID have an American tutor who thought my accent sounded Australian (I'm British).

I didn't take offence though - I just laughed. Out loud.

Not that there's anything wrong with Aussies, it's just this particular tutor said the most bizarre things.
