Also, I may be very uninformed, but what is that thing behind Link's shield? In the art, I mean.

It's the shield of the Phantom (I'm assuming) that helps him out in the dungeons.

As for what I've seen in the youtube videos, you're right. I think it is very weird that they left it with Link in the image that Trennicus posted.

seriously, Link on a magical train! To me, it looks like this: "I'm a train guy who ends up being a super powerfull legendary hero who must save a princess!"

exept for that the temples and the fiting look good.
