Only there is. Being circumcised means you don't have foreskin to protect the glans. Which means it's, technically, imperfect. Which means it fits the definition of mutilation. My take on circumcision is that it's an attempt to make masturbation more difficult, but having considered it further I'd imagine it's also an attempt at making anal sex more painful (re: discouraging homosexuality).

In reality it neither prevents masturbation nor homosexuality, though.

Well, I was cut shortly after I was born, so I don't really know what I'm missing. I'm still pretty sensitive, and I am sure as hell glad that I will never have to deal with smegma.
