It's a touchy subject indeed.

I personally think circumcision is wrong for a number of reasons but that's my personal view.

Of course if you call it mutilation you're offending people's religions and insulting people's parentage and stuff like that.

But when people start strutting around calling uncircumcised members hideous - that's kinda the same deal, right?



Wait... what? Surely it's the other way around?

It's not a given that everyone gets circumcised from birth here in the UK - and I don't believe that's how it works in the US either.



You make it sound like everyone who hasn't been circumcised is producing their own brand of brie in their trunks.

It's not difficult to keep the thing clean - and yeah, the foreskin is there to preserve the moistness and sensitivity of the glans and to relieve frictional resistance during intercourse.


TL;DR: Being uncircumcised is natural and I take offence to people strutting around like it isn't.

There are 3 things that piss me off about the whole thing

1) It's unnecessary (All supposed benefits are easily done with soap)
2) It's done without the kid's consent (he is a newborn, he can't make a decision yet)
3) It's done without anesthesia (Newborns actually have a hyper developed nervous system, not an underdeveloped one, they just go into shock, which is why people think they aren't hurt by it. Even though they scream)

Ignoring the first bit: "To make imperfect." A circumcised dick can perform the same function as an uncircumcised one. There is no change.

I wouldn't mind getting my cut actually.
It looks weird because I have a turkey neck going on.

I understand doing it for personal preference later on in life but when the kid hasn't even thought anything but "wait why cant i hear a drum anymore" it's just wrong

you mean, who is uncircumcised, or have you wrote it wrong and you're saying most people in the netherlands are cut? because i would've assumed they'd have been uncut because it's european

Actually it's less sensitive and unprotected. Also, imperfect doesn't necessarily mean a decrease in function. If I carve The Old One's name into your arm, your arm still can do everything, but it's still mutilation. I'd say cutting off any part of your skin counts as mutilation, per definition.

Now I really don't give two shits what people do to themselves for whatever reason, but for the love of God don't drag your kids into it.
