That can be said about every weapon though. They all have a strength and a weakness. The only problem is that the QB has about two uses in about two areas, and it's weak everywhere else. You're usually better off with the Mega Buster, just because that lets you move and avoid attacks while staying at a distance. The QB tends to make you so close that it becomes VERY HARD to do that.

Well that's why it's the QUICK boomerang. It kills enemies fast which makes up for it's shit range.

This is a stupid conversation though because Metal Blade seriously trumps everything in all situations except Joe Mechs. Air Shooter beats the shit out of those.

I generally don't use special weapons outside of boss fights for whatever reason.

Yeah, well I thought the only use for the QB was that giant dragon that I beat today with those weapons after not falling off the blocks and vaporising from the fire.

I'm on the stage 2 now (woo...!) and how the crap does the megenta coloured block pit do so much damage asakjhsgh I was trying the Metal Blade becasue of the angling and awesomeness but it only does like 1 more damage than the Mega Buster seems to. Is there a super effective weapon against it that I missed?

It's annoying because I got two E-Tanks and used them up on one of the attepts I made in that fight and now I don't have any left. :c

But yeah, the Metal Blade is awesome, but I love just shooting things with the Mega Buster, espicially when I'm trying to get health/ammo/lives from endless streams of mooks.

I think this boss' weakness is actually the Metal Blade. Good luck! You're gonna have to learn his pattern, and it's not too easy.

Actually that boss is super easy if you just stay near the middle. Use metal blade and shoot each robot twice as fast as possible. They form up really slowly, and you can only hit them once they start moving towards you.

Also make sure you save all your item 1 and 2 ammo for the castle, and DO NOT USE CRASH BOMBS EVER because there's the most annoying boss ever that needs to be killed only with Crash Bombs. Save that ammo, and keep plenty of lives and e-tanks in stock.

Yeah the Purple Devil Room or whatever it's called wasn't too bad in terms of patterns. I died a few times, but when I beat it it wasn't because of a pattern or anything; I just got better at jumping over the blocks.

Finally beat Megaman X.

Thank you for bringing this game to my attention fully, Egoraptor.

NOW I AM OFF TO X2.

Man I loved Mega Man X.

I haven't finished X2 because there's a weird glitch happening in my game. If I stop playing and use a password later, the X-Hunters just

disappear.

Actually, the block dude is weak to Bubble lead. It kills each of his segments instantly, but it's unwise to use it against him because of the nature of the weapon, and because you need it later.

The best advice I can give is aim carefully and only destroy the barriers that you absolutely have to. Make good use of Item 1 and 3.

Or you could destroy all of the barriers, die, grind for more weapon energy for the crash bombs, and it makes the fight a bit easier.
