All I can tell is you can't kindle.

Alive you have more resistance to pretty much everything, gaining more with each point of Humanity displayed next to your health bar. Also you can be invaded, but only if you haven't beaten an area's boss. You can also see summon signs on the ground that let you bring it other players to help you out.

Pyro's skipping right along. All the way up to Moonlight Butterfly is cleared and only thing left is...the fucking Capra Demon. Then I'm back where I was with the Wanderer. Bit irritated I can't upgrade my pyro's flame until he's dead.

you can actually if you go through the valley of drakes and down in the swamp. quelann isnt invisible to ppl with low pyroflames anymore so you could possilby upgrade your flame there. also killing quelagg will open access to the egg dude who can upgrade your flame as well

Coming from the wood bridge, there's a small cliff you can run on, and drop fireballs n' shit on his head.

Contemplating whether running through a knight, an army of Hollow jerks, rats, spear jerks, and the worst of all, crossbow jack asses who apparently have telescopes for eyes, is worth trying to get it.

Keep your shield up every time you're moving through new areas. Especially tight new areas.

And you need a Dex of 12 and also the Shortbow bought from the merchant for earliest Drake Sword, so you fucked up there by killing the merchant. Did you buy the Orange Soapstone, Repairbox, Bottomless Box, and Residence Key at least?
