Argh Ike players make me rage every time I play them. One random Smash attack from nowhere and I'm dead.

his jab combo
and back aerial and grabs for quick moves, and even back air is stretching it since you gotta go through jumping frames to use it if you're grounded. His jab and the range on his moves are his good points, but his recovery is absolutely terrible and lots of characters have no trouble gimping him offstage.

Like Lucas, the king of low tier. Just zappita-zooppity with your PK thunder and either whip him away with the tail or run it straight into him and hope he bounces off the stage platform into the pit blast zone. Or attempt a back air spike if you want to live dangerously. Any move with enough horizontal knockback is enough, actually, what with the properties of Ike's Quick Draw recovery.

Am I the only, as a kid, would take whatever character had a move with unique properties (recovers life, counters attacks, limits enemy movement, etc.) and use that move more than anything?
Am I the only who still does that now?

MK9 at Evo2012 is sort of surprising but, the MK9 community deserves it for being at a lot of majors. Also KoF at Evo after so many years, I'm hyped!
