I used to play Frank's Adventure on newgrounds. I wondered if it was still on there and holy shit it actually is.

Can a guy really start to obsess over a girl after a fling? I only ask because I broke things off with this guy after we had hooked up (not sex; like 2nd to 3rd base area) because I met a guy that I felt was actually good for me as opposed to just being okay for me. After I told him what I felt and that I thought we should stop whatever he had or didn't - because he'd only just been out of a 2 year relationship (red flag much?) - he wound up calling me at 3am from Seattle on a trip and freaking out. I told him what I felt and that I didn't want to lead him on or anything, and he sounded over it and hung up in a huff.

Then suddenly he started texting me again and trying to talk to me on Facebook. We have a mutual friend, and apparently he was asking her about me all the time. And I just found out that he was at a party a couple days ago drunk raving about how into me he was. He basically interrogated one of my friends who admitted she knew me. According to her, he was "really intense about it."

He asked me out to dinner last night, and I told him no because I didn't want to lead him on. I've been talking to the other guy too, and he seems like a much better choice - both for me and in general. The first guy proceeded to ask why and tried to reason me out of my choice before finally giving up. But I still worry.

So my question remains - how can a guy who was clearly (at the time) just booty calling me for a rebound (also, he's a 4th year, I'm a 1st year) wind up actually being hurt by an honest decision that I made? I just don't get how things got from A to B.
