Okay, what with this recent discussion, I am confused as to what circumcised/uncircumsised penises look like.
I always assumed that I was never circumcised, but now I'm not sure. Does having a mushroom cap as the tip mean I was or not?

Visually I do not care about cut or uncut - they both look just fine.

Physically, I'm more comfortable giving a guy hand/blowjobs when they are cut. From my (v. limited) experience, one of the guys I was with was uncut and the skin would not pull back all the way, so I had to be careful how I moved my hands or else end up hurting him. Guys who are uncut are more sensitive around the head as well, apparently (?), so I would be a bit nervous about how I went about things.

When I was with a guy who was cut, I didn't have to worry about this at all and it was quite a relief.

It seems to me the general trend is that men who are cut think they're better off that way, while men who are uncut don't understand why the first group feel that way.

I don't have much preference either way. Both boyfriends I've had were cut. And I'm American so that's pretty normal. Never seen an uncut penis in person, but I've seen pictures and they're both fine by me as long as they're clean.

HOWEVER

I do not believe that circumcising a baby is the proper thing to do. It's his body and he deserves to not have parts of it cut off unless he wants them cut off (unless there was some extreme medical reason why.) I know that it's probably cleaner but it's not really that hard to teach your kid to clean his dick properly and if they don't when they get older well he can deal with the repercussions of that. When he gets old enough he can get circumcised if he wants. Yes I know it hurts like a bitch and you can remember the pain if you're older but at least a part of his body wouldn't have been mutilated without his consent.
