They're probably going to want to test with unskilled players such as myself too, so if you're not middle-of-the-line, you're probably good.

Watched a stream of a player named Rainbow Dash kept trying to play Sand King and was getting dominated by bodaciously every Radiant player in the game

Hrm... I regret not signing up when I had the chance. If only I had a key, I could play DotA 2 and realize that it probably doesn't work on my computer and then pout for about 6 months.

Not sure what to think here.

So what's the issue? Every other game in the genre is doing it and Valve's gotta make cheddar somehow.

Especially if DOTA's going free to play
