This is our heroine, Crystal:
She unintentionally began her journey as a Pokemon trainer when she decided to GO BUY SOME ORANGE JUICE since her good-for-nothing drunk of a mother didn't buy any.
As a present to protect her on her journey to the market in Cherrygrove City, Professor Elm gave her a Totodile that likes to eat everything.
Crystal affectionately named the Totodile "Pouncer".
As their quest for OJ continued, they met some redheaded dickwad, who they promptly beat into the dirt.
Later they discovered he had stolen a Pokemon from Elm. Not wanting to pass up a chance to screw with the Professor/the police, Crystal lied about the name of the thief.
She's run into Asshat a few more times since they first met.
Crystal was disappointed to discover that Cherrygrove was OUT OF ORANGE JUICE WHAT IS THIS
She returned home with dampened spirits, only to turn on the TV and make a discovery.
Crystal easily destroyed the first Gym Leader, Falkner, and claimed her first badge. The first of many steps to the ultimate goal of kicking Lance in the gonads.
In Azalea Town, she met the famous Pokeball-maker, Kurt.
She helped him and the town out by defeating Team Rocket at the local well.
In return, Kurt makes her special Pokeballs out of Apricorns, something that will probably come in handy eventually.
Having defeated the second Gym Leader, Bugsy, Crystal made her way through Ilex Forest to Goldenrod. On the way, Pouncer evolved into a slightly overweight crocodile with more teeth.
Along the way to the Indigo Plateau and Lance's testicles, Crystal has captured many Pokemon, evolved several of hers, and made many enemies...
And so, the adventure continues!
