That means you probably need a new computer/internet connection.

Just finished The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. If you like a good mystery/thriller, I highly recommend it.

I couldn't really get in to the Millenium trilogy because the first 100 pages is primarily talk about setting up a business and little else.

I was confused at first too. But if you get to the second book, you'll most likely love it. Much more action and better pace.

why I read Looking For alaska on a whim:

Just sleep together in the most innocent sense of the phrase. But I lacked the courage and she had a boyfriend and I was gawky and she was gorgeous and I was hopelessly boring and she was endlessly fascinating. So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was hurricane.”

That is great.

I admit, it starts a little slow, but it picks up after the first few chapters if you stick with it. I watched the Swedish film of it last night on Netflix and it avoids this problem by pretty much ignoring the business intrigue subplot entirely. I'm curious to see how Fincher's version will handle it, he has a knack for making long films seem short.

Because you don't hate yourself enough to put up with having to see your favorite characters go through hell.

That's what makes it such a good series

Except at THAT ONE PART I almost didn't finish it because I was so upset haha

Then I realized that I just HAD to find out what happened so I continued

You'd think with so many people dying in that series you'd not feel very affected after a while, but he always invents some new way to put them through hell that you still get all choked up

I'm trying to find a book based off of a description, but I'm not having much luck.

Does anyone know about a series about a vampire who feeds on literature?

As in, he would eat the words off the of the page, because he couldn't drink blood.

My google skills are leaving me with nothing.
