How so? Can't you roll and sprint as a knight?

When a knight rolls, it takes them about 2 seconds to get off the ground which is enough time to get hit

My warrior is the same way. You just have to roll as he's attacking so by the time e recovers, you're already standing.

I didn't know about the merchant when I fought him, so I didn't have any. He is pretty weak against fire though.

kale, if you are still having trouble with knight, just do what he said and stab him in the head when you drop. when you are fully on the ground, sprint past him, dont roll. once you are halfish way down the area, turn around and look at the boss, he will either be charging or finishing the attack he did when you sprinted past him. start sprinting back towards him along side the wall and he should miss. i only got hit once doin this when runnin back.

4 hits and ded.

also apparntly if you cut off the tails of big demons you get special items. not sure how to actually cut them off tho

So I tried bandit and didn't really like it.
I tried Pyromancer and ehhhh.
Then I'm like "fuck this shit deprived all the way!". Give myself the master key and get a morning star, the Estoc, and all the armor from killing those undead dudes over and over.
If anyone has a master key and is having trouble with the second boss there is a door a little ways before the boss tower that can be unlocked and it has 3x pine resin in it, using those will electrify you're weapon and you can take him down in a few hits without even jumping on his head.

EDIT: Also where is this merchant before the second boss? I've yet to see one?

so how do you level up and/or progress covenants? im in the way of white atm cause im a knight and got auto put it in

im going to try and riddle the drakes head with arrows and kill it cause i cant fathom how else to get past it to its bonfire. i got the sword from shooting its tail and if you have 16 str, i highly recommend getting it. i also just got the reinforced etus from the church and freed teh gold guy in there. i think hes going to be trouble later.

reading the starting class wiki for a bit it seems like Pyromancer is perfect for my way of playing, melee for weaker shit and magic for stronger shit
