You're right, Millenaire pulls worse bs
That's the third time it happened. I sold them enough stuff to create a bakery, I go to sleep, I wake up and then BAM! A builder was deleting a chunk of terrain from behind my house, destroying a wall in the process

Millenaire is buggy as fuck and I hate it. NPCs in Vanilla Minecraft are crappy, but the villages are much better.

hahaha i've never, ever had that problem and i've never seen it reported anywhere on the millenaire wiki or in the thread.

looks more like you had a chunk generation error

also in terms of looks:

http://www.millenaire.org/wiki/File:201 ... .31.24.png
and
http://www.millenaire.org/wiki/File:MillenaireTown.png

vs

http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/File: ... reView.png
and
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/File: ... erview.png

i definitely prefer the former

and then of course there's the fact the villagers don't look like tibetan squidward in millenaire

Nope, it couldn't be a chunk error since I SAW the builder walking along that area, deleting blocks along the way.
And yes, the Millenaria villages are nicer but you have to keep in mind that Notch/Jeb probably didn't have enough time to refine the village generation code, and I'm sure we have grotesque villagers because they wanted to keep you the only human in the world

Hopefully Notch and his gang will make the AI for the townspeople less buggy than Millenaire

Come on guys they're called TESIFICATE I can assure you those aren't going to be the actual skins of the towns people. It's just like when Enderman had zombie sounds, it's a pre-release, shit aint done bro.

Honestly, it's kind of hard to imagine MC ever being done. It seems like there is always something to expand and/or improve on.

Okay, so I'm playing on 1.9, just spawned in a swamp. (So coooool)
There's a bunch of mushrooms about and vines on the trees. Neat!

I'm trying to play it with monsters. Hope I don't pussy out too soon.

Things that would make Vanilla villages better:
Never spawning in certain terrain types (ravines, mountains, etc)
Not having gravel walkways (Cobblestone was FUCKING USED TO MAKE WALKWAYS)
Fixing the indoor lighting

Things that would make Minecraft better: Fix the goddamn memory leak, I want to be able to play for more than ten minutes. Goddamn.

Does anyone have an old download they happened to save, before they made the info page at start up? I hear it's the new loader that causes the problems.

It's not so much a memory leak for 1.9 it's WHOOPS GONNA USE ALL YOUR CPU POWER..AND I MEAN ALL OF IT.

Liking the prerelease format; one side you have an audience clamoring for more and more content and updates, and the other is content with what they have and might complain that more and more updates are ruining their game and making it unplayable with bugs. Now the only thing they need to do is make a more official feedback for the prerelease stuff; that way, different information isn't going through multiple sources of networking about bugs!

also testificates are lovely

I think I could handle that since my computer is pretty powerful, but watching my ram usage climb just from sitting there, and then finally having the whole thing crash, is pretty frustrating.
