if you hardly eat your body will put everything it can into the fat reserves because it thinks you are starving. Eat regularly and healthy. It's better than hardly anything. (says the guy who won't do that himself but oh well)

You also have to exercise otherwise your body will still bulk up your fat reserves because it doesn't think you need the muscle for your current level of activity.

I starting to understand that now. I'm going to try and go out for a long walk once every other day and see how that works out.
