I'm always surprised at how much most people just don't know about sex. Haha. I guess that's just me I've never really seen sex as a really Taboo topic, but sex in America is really popular, but people are told not to talk about it. Most kids/teens' sex ed comes from porn, which...is a terrible thing really.
It is kinda sad, but comics like that are a good thing IMO, they are educational, but still pretty funny enough to make people want to read it.

I think I've said this before but in my school we haven't done much about sex ed - i think it's partially because we're a Christian school and also because it's an all boys school (and so they might think they don't need to teach us about how not to get girls pregnant etc.) Or maybe they just think everybody already knows, and they've already covered it? Even still, some of my friends in other school have like practiced with condoms and stuff and we've never even talked about then. I think this year (or next year) we will as then everyone will be 15/16 and near the age of consent.

Let me assure you that I'm quite informed of the merits of Lesbian sex.

I got some sex ed in biology class but most of it I kinda figured out on my own. I once asked my dad why we didn't ever have 'the talk'. He said he never thought I needed it. I guess he was right but still, isn't it your parents responsibility to at least bring it up somewhere along the road?

But it's much more awkward and uncomfortable having a conversation about sex with your mum/dad then with a teacher and 29 other students.

My parents never gave me the talk. I just somewhat figured it out by myself.

It seems like your parents knew that they didn't need to talk about. If they thought anything else, don't you think they would say anything?
