Perhaps, if you dislike it so much, you should just stop watching? I thought Season 2 was good. I enjoyed season 1. Nuff said. I'm fuckin' excited for 3. And Mike Chang has more than 10 moves.
God daisies. Where is the roller bladeing Batman oh god i can't stop farting reaction JPG I need. :I
You're one of those Gleeks who only watch it for the music and teen angst, aren't you?
When I watch a TV show which tries to be complex with their characters, see all the stereotypes they've blatantly made obvious, I kind of hope for some intricate storytelling and not just "FINN LOVES RACHEL. NO WAIT HE LIKES QUINN. WHATS THAT? RACHEL HAS SELF DOUBT? QUICK FINN LIKES HER AGAIN TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM."
If you actually think Season 2 was good in comparison to Season 1, then there is something seriously wrong with what you think is "good". They specifically made Sue into a "likeable" character at the end of Season 1 and for absolutely no reason whatsoever she's suddenly a dick again in Season 2? They stripped any and all development from her character. And then publicly said that she's taking out the Glee Club on a "national level" in Season 3. So what's the point of the episode 'Funeral' if all that development disappears too immediately?
The writers had so much realistic development during Season 1, stuff people can relate to. And then during Season 2 jumbled it all up just in favor of senseless "dramantics" between the characters. Not to mention about 80% of the storylines were centered around "OMGZ KURT NOOO!! WE MISS YOU!! COME BACK!!" And trying to blatantly throw out "NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING GAY" every episode. I'm all for "moral of the story" moments, but it gets sickening every other 20 minutes to be thrown in our face.
And then you mix in Quinn saying "It'll ruin my New York surprise" at the end which finally made the finale hyped up again, then what does she do? Three dirty glares at Rachel and a crying fit worth of a haircut. Wow, so fiendish of her!
The writers have such horrid abilities of writing teenaged characters, and it's ridiculously blatant.
Season 2 was horrible. It had very little good moments to it and maybe a handful of memorable song covers, and nothing more.
