driving through kansas sucked

nothing but corn and cows

and my dad thought it was funny to roll the windows down while we passed one of those huge cattle farms when they were gathering the cattle in to the tiny pens for slaughter.

i usually play ds, read, or sleep. though we rarely drive anywhere further than lousiana to see family there. we did drive from texas to north dakota and back and i think that was the furthest we've ever taken a road trip??

If you think driving through anywhere sucks, you have no idea until you've been through Georgia. I've never wanted to jump out of a speeding car more than that drive. Absolutely unrelentingly boring is what it is.

Georgia is cotton fields and dead plants. Cotton fields, dead plants, and no shade anywhere. Seriously, it is so goddamn hot in Georgia. I just...I don't like it.

The worst is Kansas and Nebraska... just... nothing...

That's why I love living in Texas... go any direction from where I live and you'll find interesting terrain...

Though, it helps that my state is larger than many countries.
