The Section 8 games are like Halo mixed with Tribes, Battlefield, and a touch of Metroid. Very low price point and very high value. I'm absolutely loving Prejudice on PC. It's on sale on Steam right now for 66% off.

Looks pretty fun. Does it have a demo?

Only on consoles, unfortunately. My first experience with the series was the Hornet's Nest trial on the PlayStation Network. I bought the first game and eventually got Prejudice, despite my dislike of Games for Windows Live. Totally worth the cheddar, especially now that it's on sale.

EDIT: Best video. I know I already posted it in Game Gabbin', but it's still awesome.

After playing a few levels, my laptop is running hot. The friendly AI is certifiably retarded. "Stand still in front of me while I'm shooting" retarded. The cutscenes don't provide much backstory, and neither does the gameplay. Maybe I should have played the first one? So far it seems like a generic space marine FPS, but it's fun and I enjoy it.

Oh, and another nitpick. Is it just me, or is the voice acting terrible?

They bodaciously call the campaign a multiplayer tutorial. It's not meant to be great. The bots in multiplayer are actually very competent compared to the campaign AI. What's your Live ID?

Yeah campaign is sort of shitty, but I only bought it to replace Halo Reach's multiplayer while I'm saving my cheddar for things other than XBox Live subscriptions.

It's good fun, my GFWL account is YCobb.

Expect a friend invitation very shortly. I'm playing multiplayer right now.

I still haven't played it.

Played the console demo for the original a while back and thought it was a lot of fun.

Well, if you're willing to make the jump, Prejudice is even better than the first, and it's on sale.

Oh I already bought it yesterday.

I've just been really busy what with programming and school and needing to finish Persona 4 before then and I've been busy.

Oh! Well, when you get the chance, you should post your Windows Live ID so we can all start rampaging together.

Add President Magikarp on Steam. We play Prejudice pretty often.
