How will you take your revenge as a bunch of ash when the dead come back to life? Cremation is also against the Jewish religion, not that I am super religious but there are some things.
My standpoint on the matter is: "I've already died once, I don't care to come back. Just leave me to rest, goddamn." I'm not jewish either so that always helps with the whole not caring thing.

I should've read through this thread first; Am I the only person here who finds piercings and tattoos attractive? And why is everyone treating them like they're just metal and/or ink stabbed into your body for no specific reason? They've been performed all over the world for ages for more reason than that...

I find them unattractive simply because I find them unattractive. I really can't explain why (actually, I probably could, if I thought about it hard enough, but I don't fell like doing that right now).

Not as permenant as you'd think. A lot of tattoos have to be touched up over time because they naturally fade. Especially black, which is, what, the most common tattoo colour? Yellow is just a pain, so I'm personally trying to avoid getting much yellow ink in any of the tattoos I want. Also, there are new methods for removing them that don't leave scars and/or cost tons of cheddar. And what's wrong with punk? O_o It's just a stereotype like preps always wearing PANK and goths always being satanists.

That's fine, I just don't see why "oh god it's metal/ink being jabbed into flesh" is such a focal point. You don't see the event going down; You see the end result and if you don't like, you don't. No different than not liking blondes or not liking people who wear sweater vests.

It is a stereotype but sometimes thats all it takes to make up peoples minds on it, that along with parental influence. As for how permanent they are, they may start to fade but that doesn't mean the go away, its still there, as for removal, they are still pricey and probably painful. Also:
http://thetravisty.com/Saturday_Night_L ... emover.htm relevant SNL skit :)

For me its not the fact that oh its metal/ink being stabbed into your flesh its just they can look gaudy. I have seen some cool/nice ones but I would never consider it and in looking for a relationship I personally would not choose someone with one for other aforementioned reasons.

Tattoos and many piercings are a turn off for me.

Also page get.
i guess people of the jewish faith should stay out of New Orleans.

everyone in those cemetaries is cremated over time, since all the cemetaries are above-ground tombs that bake the body inside into ash...

There are creams and lotions available that aren't immediate removal but do remove it. They don't hurt and can be pretty cheap, although some don't work too well, so that's the consequence of not going the surgery way. But I'd rather risk wasting only that much cheddar and avoid scars and pain than spending a whole bunch, having to deal with recovery and possible infections, and scarring.

That's understandable. For as much as I love piercings, I get immediately turned off when I hear "I'm going to be getting a corset piercing", because most of the time people don't realize they're more likely than not going to end up with infections later.

You'd be surprised who you can end up with though. Tuxedo Mask and the majority of his family were all against the idea of tattoos and piercings, and he ended up dating me. Now he has his own piercings when before he never wanted any. XD

Marly, you could always use your body for fertilizer. :P It'd help the environment! ... Probably.

Make them put your body in the desert for buzzards. Or you can donate it for SCIENCE! :science:

Also, about the topic of piercings/tatoos: I don't really mind them, but I wouldn't want to get one. Mostly because my tastes change so rapidly, so I would probably end up regretting it.

One time at this restaurant, I saw a waiter with these huge-mongous gauge earrings, making his lobes look like onion rings. When he gets old that is gonna look so nasty.
