Interesting, the reason this album is so raw is because the KGB didn't allow them to record in a studio due to them having a stance against the Soviet administration, so they just recorded in an apartment.

That's pretty daisies cool. It's probably be even cooler if half the alternative albums I listened to didn't already sound like they were recorded in apartments.
