Hitler is a companion for 2 episodes

Doctor Who shows him how badly he looses, generally makes him feel horrible about himself, then drops him back off in Berlin during the Battle of Berlin.

In the room he kills himself in.

Then hands him a gun.

viewer ratings shoots up

I have already seen the trailer playing on BBC and I always lose at the part where Hitler says "You may have just saved my life"
And the gang is like "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

Also since Rory decks Hitler in the face he is now unquestionably the most badass man ever.

that's sort of my point

he's got these moments where he's just this amazingly awesome character

and then the rest he's like not even close

it's so weird

Am I the only one who's excited about having Captain Jack come back to the show next Series?

Rumor floating around right now is that the new jacket The Eleventh is wearing in the Series 6 Pt. 2 promo posters is a subtle nod to Jack being involved in the Series 6 Grand Finale twist.

I hope so.

Over the time I was sick I had time to watch a lot of TV. I decided to take a look at BBC America, and I fell in love with the series almost instantly. I'm about to watch part 2 of Pandorica right now.

That one was my favourite post-revival finale. Ever.

What sucks about the most recent Series is that Moffat doesn't know of the term subtlety. He's made everything so glaringly obvious to the viewers that it's taken away a lot of the mystery about the show. You'd be hard pressed not to find someone who didn't see River being Amy/Rory's daughter.

And this whole "I killed the greatest man I ever knew" bit? The whole "Ganger" two-parter episode that slams the obvious in our faces over and over as if Moffat is yelling "SEE THESE? THESE ARE IMPORTANT. REMEMBER THESE. DO YOU HEAR ME? LOOK AT SOME MORE! HERES A SECOND EPISODE! REMEMBERRRR!!!"

I really don't like where Moffat has taken the show to be honest. I miss Davies' subtle "Saxon 2008" posters littered all over walls and random mailboxes and stuff. Never drawing ANY attention to them, just as if they were seemlessly part of the time period which led to The Master.

As far as how this Series will end, I have the strangest feeling it's going to be...

(Going to Spoiler this just to be safe)

1) The Doctor knowing he's going to die now has 4-5 episodes to plan ahead to get out of it.
2) The Doctor has a Ganger Doctor's presence still alive, with a Sonic Screwdriver of his own no less, he can go back and retrieve.
3) The Doctor in "The Impossible Astronaut" had to drive to meet Amy/Rory/River. No TARDIS was ever seen or mentioned by him during the starting moments. Only a red car.
4) If you watch carefully, just as "The Doctor" gets shot by the astronaut there's a figure over Rory's shoulder looking from behind the bathroom stall on the hill, obviously going to be revealed as the real Doctor.
5) Doctor switches with Ganger Doctor.

6) At some point during these episodes Rory is going to be killed again. It's a daisies running gag now and the only way to save him will be to wire him into the Astronaut suit of The Silence. Moffat has said The Silence are back for the second half, so they'll end up in their TARDIS clone again after defeating them and be left with Rory seconds away from death with that being the only way to save him.
7) Years later, Rory is the one in the suit who kills the swapped Ganger Doctor as that's what the suit was always destined to be used for. River as a child was just a test run.
8 ) In a fit of unknowing rage, River will encounter the Astronaut in the Storm Cage or at Demon's Run and shoot at it, killing Rory inside. The Doctor then sentences her to the Storm Cage for life knowing she needs to be there and in a prison she can easily break free of to assist his earlier life's versions (Silence In The Library, Forest Of The Dead, etc.).
9) Amy will be eventually left alone to raise a young River Song in solitude where nobody can contact her or know of her being with The Doctor for the sake of someone finding River again and using her for evil plots.
10) The Doctor retires to his TARDIS and we find Captain Jack Harkness waiting for him saying the universe is in trouble more than ever and collapses as we leave off as the cliffhanger for Series 6.

That's my theory, I'm almost certain this is how things are going to turn out. And if they don't then I applaud Moffat for using none of the set-up material he's spent an entire Series creating for it.
