I guess kinda read all this stuff and it seemed a bit like people were saying that washing your face doesn't help acne at all and that sorta made me question

I stopped washing my face properly a while ago. Usually now I just wash my hands, and then briefly wipe my face with my hands after I've rinsed the soap off before drying both my hands and face on a towel. My skin's not perfect but it's definitely a heckuva lot clearer than it used to be. The only times I get breakouts is when I'm on my period. :T

I have a tendency to just quickly wipe my face with a tissue/towel every so often during the day to stop it feeling too oily though, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
