*slowly wanders into thread*
So on Tuesday I had to go to the emergency room because I decided to walk down the stairs on the side of the house at 10pm and they decided it would be fun to move under me while I was carrying a couch box... I have a minor sprain and am wearing a boot to get around (I can walk without it, but I get some pain if my ankle rotates a bit). However, I have a tilted bladder, meaning when I have to go to the bathroom, I have to get there within a minute or so or else I'm playing a dangerous game of "Will it or won't it?" in which case the only prize I receive either way is undesirable fluid expulsion...
Needless to say, reenacting the March of the Penguins isn't very fun... especially when nature calls in the middle of the night and I have to strap my boot on... but at least this time I don't have to deal with goddamn crutches... racing to the bathroom on those was sheer hell...
Also, fun fact, this is the second sprained ankle for me this year, both involving stairs (though the first also involved a lack of sleep because of a research paper) and this time it's the right ankle as opposed to last time's left... So yeah, I hate stairs now...
Also, the side of my foot is Barney purple right now, but strangely it doesn't hurt there... everyone thinks it's like the worst sprain ever but I should be mostly fine by next week... I haven't even taken any of the pain meds prescribed to me... :/
And to what I have read of this thread so far...
(keep up the... work?)
