You do not need it anymore. You just need to forward the port you're gonna use to make the server.

using hamachi is a lot easier than learning port forwarding

I haven't found a single heart thing in the ground to raise my life, and I have only found 11 fallen stars, so I have 1 manna star, and I don't know how to use spells. I'm still at iron gathering, though I have the weapon I want for now. Exploring has helped me, but I haven't found anything besides non craftable potions, so I just don't have much in the game yet. Also this is the first game that plays like this that I have played, which might explain why in 3 hours I haven't gotten far.

everyone's setup is different, 9 times out of 10 it is not as simple as just going into your router.

I do, and I also know how to port forward, however I'm not the one hosting these servers.

I don't LIKE Hamachi because it never actually closes its ALWAYS running in the background even when it's "turned off". I shouldn't have to go into my task manager to close it.

Port forwarding is easy for any router. All you need to know is the port you want to forward, and your IP address that the router assigns you. The only extra steps, and I can assure you it will be this simple for "9 out of 10" routers, is to go to "advanced options" and then "port forwarding"

i'd be able to host a server... maybe for 6 people max. i already have the port forwarded and everything.
i mean i could probably hold more peeps but it'll take up so much bandwidth. anyone want me to open one?
