I have four friends who are in a band together. They're pretty popular around school, and they actually book a lot of gigs around the county to play at. I even covered a song with them at one of their bar gigs. They're fun to see live, so naturally I was stoked to pick up a copy of their EP.

Turns out they should only be a live band, because daisies the lead singer CANNOT carry a tune on tape. It was pitchy-er than Smiley Virus off auto-tune.

A group of my friends and me performing "Closing Time" by Semisonic

My school does Open Mic just about every Thursday and my friends and I decided we were going to put something together for it...30 minutes before Open Mic. Naturally, I was shitting bricks when I got up there, as I was singing (yeah, I'm the singer by the by) a song that I really didn't know. Go easy on it, but at the end of the day, i'm pop flyin' with it.

I just really want to sing. Karaoke, Open Mic, something. It sucks not really having an outlet.
