Those weird bruise-like marks that appeared on my arms last week are still there, and they seem to be on my legs now too (though I'm not sure if they've been there the whole time as well). I showed my mum the bits on my arms and she said it was probably just my veins, but the marks are a bit too large to just be my veins showing beneath my skin.

Your veins would look like well, veins, thin wires running across your skin. If you want to upload a picture I could ask a friend in med school to look at them. Do the marks hurt or hurt when you push on them?

I don't really have any way of getting a photo at the moment, other than with my laptop's webcam, but that's not very good at picking things up. It seems to be somewhat faded at the moment though. It seems to keep alternating between being that and being really noticeable, though it tends to mostly be the latter whenever I have a shower. They don't hurt or anything though.

Ah, then it's probably blood. Blood moves towards your skin when you're warm, thus increasing the markings. It sounds like a hematoma to me, but I'm no doctor of course. In any case, since they are spreading, that could be indicative of a blood coagulation problem.

Like DND said, if you can spare the time/cheddar, it might be best to get checked out.
