I sort of liked it, but the wiimote worked better for most games (that were worth playing).

I prefer the GC pad to the Classic Controller.



Fans and non-fans alike have been bashing Nintendo for all kinds of stuff since the days I first got into the vidya gaems; Nintendo go through long periods of 'no good gaems' and there's always been complaints that 'all their gaems are for kids', but with Nintendo - when the good stuff happens - it's really good.

Please nintendo, no stupid controller gimmicks.

I kinda preferred Classic Controller over Gamecube Controller whenever I played Virtual Console games, probably because of that superior D-pad.

I'm just hoping its not the retarded rumor of WOOOOO YOU CAN FEEL TEXTUUUUURES.

I just want a next generation of consoles that lets me sit the hell down, and play vidya. without stupid gimmicks attached

These guys have several designs similar to rumors for the next console.

I just don't like the ridiculous level of hype that surrounds the release of new Nintendo stuff. The sheer amount of it usually leads to let downs.

I'd lol if the new console was an HD gamecube with the old controller.

I believe, based on some mention of Haptic on the site, that this actually is the technology Nintendo is using.

I tried their tech before at a trade show. Pretty sweet.
Play Half Life 2 with the Falcon. Incredible, how accurately it simulates texture.

The Novint stuff looks interesting but it seems kinda bulky for everyday home users - much less so than the Wiimote and nunchuk, plus you need to be sitting at a desk for the 'Falcon' technology to work properly.

Some of the tech requires the units size, but the texture feature can be, in theory, be implemented on a souped up wiimote.

I. WANT. THIS.

Imagine playing something like Amnesia on this.


If this controller=handheld thing catches on, I can see Nintendo simply combining both the gen after this, making the successor to the 3DS the controller for their latest console.

Do you have any clue how expensive this would be to play? They would probably charge 5 bucks per play, and like with most of these highly interactive machines, the game would be on a time limit.
