Also, yeah no. This is not a 2D minecraft. That's like calling minecraft an infiniminer ripoff. Similar? Yes. Same thing? Hardly. If I HAD to compare it to other games, I'd say it was a mix between a metroidvania style game and minecraft. It makes for an excellent combo.

Man, this looks pretty cool. I got a feeling it will fuck up my studying to oblivion though. It also looks very fun to do with a group of friends, so I'm definitely pro an AZ server.

ANYWAY, talking with pbat before and he got an advance copy of Terraria on steam. The game doesn't have a store ID yet so it just said in-game. Kinda weird.
