I did that a lot. I tried way too hard in chambers with easy solutions, and they took forever when it should have taken me two minutes at the most.

Hahahahaha, I did that once, in the part where you have to "run underneath the pistons"
I even had a friend sitting there while we kept trying to figure out how to time it. Of course, all the walls in the area were white..

Portal 2 comic yessss. Also I have to be a party pooper and say that I never really had this problem. I was ok with the test chambers, but when it came to old Aperture I got stumped alot because of how vast the areas were and how there were portal walls everywhere, but most of them didn't do anything. Or even worse when portal walls were hidden behind grates and I'd walk in circles for 10 minutes.
