Yup. The successor to the Wii is apparently going to be revealed at E3 this year (June 7-9 in Los Angeles).

Although the press release confirms a 2012 release, due to the sales of this new system not being included in the recently published financial forecasts of this fiscal year, it may be speculated that this console will not be released before April 2012; although this has yet to be confirmed.

The Wii has sold more than 86 million units since its worldwide launch in 2006.

So this will be the start of 8th Generation consoles?

Nintendo got the jump early on 8th Gen. 3DS and Wii2.

Hopefully Microsoft throws something out there. Like a portable system. I mean, they are the only ones with no portable system. Even Sony has the new NGP.

They got the first word in last gen, too. The Nintendo DS came out in late 2004, with the second console (PSP) releasing in March 2005 and Xbox 360 releasing in November.

Consoles can be good sometimes, a lot of it is aimless hate (Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo fanboys and shit) though
and PCs are always timeless, PC Gaming will never die

It's funny how Sony and MS have only just gotten into the motion-control thing with Move and Kinect, only for Nintendo to already be declaring that they've been there; Done that, and are now moving on to the next thing.

Idk what you've heard, but they seem to be more oriented toward the PC at the moment - what with Spiral Knights and the forthcoming PSO2.
