Holy crap that was fast.

Anyway, if moot is the guy that made 4chan, then, sadly, he probably is pretty daisies influential...

Someone should write a book about the internet. Like, there are no experts on the dynamics of the internet. I think it would be an interesting read, if someone could do all the research.

DOUBLE EDIT: Don't know why exactly the old image decided to stop working. Had to upload a new one.

Why do they do this at the beginning of the year, and not at the end? Shouldn't you wait til the end of 2009 to vote on who was the most influential?
Shouldn't magazines be marked as the current month instead of the next?

Shouldn't new car models be marketed as the current year?

Man, you gotta understand. People hate logic.

I know about that, but I would think that there would be more people voting for Colbert than Rain.

I expected Rain and Colbert to be towards the top because of their "feud", which their fans seem to be completely on-board with, but even with Colbert's (much greater) popularity in America a lot of Rain's American fans are on the internet. They have to be, to listen to his music. Still, I did expect Colbert to be higher than number eight.

But back to the moot issue: he will not be beaten. 4channers can not be beaten. They dominate a good portion of the internet. I just can't wait to see what Time Magazine will write about him. :awesome:

Oh, no doubt. You cannot deny that 4chan, love it or hate it, has a substantial amount of people at its disposal willing to do anything. I mean, just look at the numbers. Moot has about 1.3 million votes already. I'm not concerned about whether or not he'll win, I'm concerned about whether or not they will acknowledge his victory.

How is it possible that 4chan has so many people that they are able to dominate a list like this yet it seems everyone in the universe hates it?

I smell a conspiracy!
