Just finished it. Wow, that ate my time up. 8 hours for Single-player in the end. And it was amazing, though I agree with peoples a few pages back about wanting to get the puzzles done to get more story progression.

But am I alone in thinking the end was really sad?

I don't know if that's worth it's spoiler tag.

So at first, I thought that part at the very end where you shoot a portal to the moon was kind of silly. I mean, how could a portal stick to an uneven, rocky surface like the moon?
But then I remembered Cave Johnson describing how they made the Conversion Gel in the first place!
BRILLIANT!

the co-op is better than expected, but tragically kind of short. Be sure to play with someone who has a mike or isn't an booty.
I kind wish they had a test chamber creator or something, and you can share the puzzles online kinda like little big planet two.

Just did the first few parts of Co-Op, and it's fun. Not especially difficult, but it takes plenty of teamwork and some creative thinking on some parts.

Valve said they would release it eventually

The co-op feels a bit short, but it's still about four or five hours. Longer than Portal 1.

So that's about 13 hours of total gameplay.

Weren't people complaining about this being short?

Well to some people $60 isnt that easy to come by. So if they buy a game that only keeps them occupied for a day or two, they are gonna say it is short.

Could just be me, but I can see valve supporting this game with content a la TF2. Since they've bothered to give the game a shop like tf2, hats, gestures etc.

How would you do that with Portal 2 though?
