I don't know why I'm doing this. Really, I don't. A longtime fan of Katie's comics, finding them quite funny on occasion, and what's the first thing I do when I sign up on her forum?

I post about god-daisies Chris-Chan. What the hell is wrong with me?! Seriously, the guy's become a bile fascination ever since I started reading this thread. I mean... wow. Talking about the ultimate in human trash.

Chris-Chan gets NC'ed

A little background: the Nostalgia Critic is guy behind 5 Second Movies (on Youtube, now defunct), and currently has his own site with a bunch of other people: thatguywiththeglasses.com. They review movies, video games, comics, the works.

I'm guessing the NC doesn't know about Chris-Chan, but the above video is very funny - and satisfying.

Goddamn, I really want to watch that because it's either hilarious or full of fail. But, I'm out of broadband :(.

Hint: Any video that ends with CWC's head getting blown off is rarely bad.

Anyways, there's something quite a few pages back that caught my attention; something minor, but irks me nonetheless. Basically when an Iranian fan (presumably a girl) told Chris-Chan that she'll be executed for reading his comic.

Trust me; Iranian law is pretty darn strict. But if a website is illegal, wouldn't they block it out at the ISP? But what takes the cake is her name

That's like having an Irish girl named Hans Sean O. No, really. Aside from the fact that it's Arabic, not Persian (which can be excused because of cultural osmosis), Rachid is a male name, and Abu means "father of", so you can see it's not really a full name in itself. Which can only mean 'she' was made up by a troll who couldn't be bothered to do any research.

Still, it can't hold a candle to the fact that Chris-Chan's only response to a girl being sentenced to death is 'pitiful'. Probably because she probably wasn't a pretty white girl like he'd like.

EDIT: My bad. It's Abdul, not Abu. But 'Abdul' means 'servant of', usually in a context like Abdul-Rahim (servant of The Most Merciful) Abdul-Karim (servant of The Most Generous), basically attached to a description of God or Allah. On its own, it means nothing.

The promise of NC got me to watch a Chris-chan video.

Well, I need to be honest; I'm Arab, Jordanian to be precise. So me knowing Arabic is pretty much a given. Still, I'll be sure to keep my posts on topic and to be careful not to make a fool of myself. And yeah, this forum seems like a nice place, so hopefully, I'll stick around.

Yeah, I understand the feeling; you wander around this thread, reading about CWC in increasing morbid fascination that any *good* source of entertainment is a lifesaver.

I'm not saying this thread is awful; quite the contrary, it's hilarious and the guys here have a good sense of humor. It's the subject matter that sucks.

Edit: Holy shiiit, his voice kinda sounds like Noah's from TribeTwelve. Could just be a slight similarity and not the same guy though.

I don't think you're supposed to; I tried and I got a cramp 10 minutes in, maybe 5. Seriously, you're just better off holding the thing in your clenched fist and draw. Again, I'm chalking that freakish method of drawing up to CWC flat-out refusing to take any hints from anyone. If a guy tries to show him how, his twisted way of thinking will make him assume that guy is gay and is coming on to him, resulting in a vicious outburst. If a girl tries to show him, he'll take it the wrong way and think she's hitting on him, resulting in some unpleasant situations. And since Bob and Barb don't give constructive criticism and don't care about his webcomic, he's got nothing on that front.

Hey lookit, hes drawing on lined paper! I didnt know you could make a comic off of lined paper, due to the lines acting as a crutch to beginning artists...
