I used to do that all the time and it is a hard habit that I never cared to break. It made the time to by.

Man, I love the teacher's pose in the last panel. It has a sort of... swagger to it.

Also, there's something about the last panel... maybe it's all the details or the coloring or just simply how it's drawn, but I find it really aesthetically pleasing. |: Know what I mean?

Yeah.
Katie doesn't usually work that hard on backgrounds (The awesome facial expressions TOTALLY make up for it, though.) so that panel sort of sticks out...
