I hate people who hate things just because they're popular. If Final Fantasy 7 was some random RPG that never really got popular, more than 50% of the haters would probably love the game.
I have friends who've done this. It seemed hardcore at first (was young + dumb), then it started to not make sense anymore.
That's like me hating twilight because of the popularity.
I have a very logical reason on why I DO hate it. It just sucks. Period.
Q4E. All the girls in my class are obsessed and have pictures of Edward Cullen in their lockers.
HE'S UGLY. GET OVER IT.
Just to clear things up, I just want to mention that I
do despise Twilight. It even made me hate previously hated books less because I discovered how completely awful a book can really be. I just cannot understand why people can honestly say that Twilight is a good book. It has absolutely no good things about it.
It appeals to the insecure teenage girls who are constantly searching for that one perfect man. And who like angsty vampires.
I swear to God, just once, I'd like them to sit down and watch Interview With The Vampire. Now that's a good movie.
I haven't seen the movie, but are there nothing gay like sparkles and pale emo bois with mary-sue self inserts of the creator?
Well, no sparkles. They're vampires, though, so it's all pretty pale. There's an implied homosexual relationship between the two main characters, but it's not that bad.
There's also a bit of a teacher-student relationship between Lestat and Louis. You can expect lots of human-feeding from the former. Overall, it's a lot less like a teenager's wet dream, and more like an actual vampire story.
I don't mind the paleness because vampires are supposed to be pale. But I just hate the emoness.
I was joking about the gay thing though. lol As long as it's about REAL vampires, I'm cool.
