I know I do.

I mean, Its a good game, but It hasnt aged well (and thats why OoT 3DS coming out is a good thing)
It's quality is irrespective of how it's aged. It was such an amazing game for the time because of what it did, at the time. It was a huge, bold new step in game mechanics that could have very, very easily been a horrible game. Instead, it was a watershed in a new technological era. It accomplised a lot mechanically, and to this day it's still impressive.

^ Everything that Spoony just said.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion of the actual games, and personally, OoT is NOT my favorite Zelda game. But it was such a huge and incredible landmark for the gaming industry when it came out that it continues to be an incredibly powerful influence to this very day.

Which is why it's getting a remake.

While I do agree that it was influential, I really hate OoT.

I enjoy it a lot, but I definitely think it gets over hyped.

I always feel silly when I say Wind Waker and Majora's Mask were my favorites.

Majora's Mask has been the most important Zelda game to date, I think. It is a beautiful, amazing game about love and tenderness and I could talk about it forever.

My favorite Zelda game...is a tie between Minish Cap and Twilight Princess.

Which is a strange combination now that I think of it. But Minish Cap was so charming, and it was the first Zelda game I played and beat. Twilight Princess offers a darker story, which I love, and the fact that it manages to incorporate some humor despite the serious art style makes it a winner. Plus I love wolves.

On the subject of dark stories, the only reason Majora's Mask isn't one of my favorites is because having that three-day time limit hanging over my head seriously scared me when I first played it--even though I knew about slowing time down. I still hate time limits, but I'm better at managing them now.

Do not feel shame for that.

They are easily the two most stand-out titles in the series.

Oh, I know. I also enjoy it (Heck, I just recently beat it again). But there's a fine line between respecting the game as the landmark it was in its time, and pure fanatism that blinds people from the other LoZ games.

I hate when people think OoT is the only Zelda game that deserves to played to this day.

Oh well, Opinions.

-----------------------------------

My favorite games are The Wind Waker, the first one I finished and thus holds truly dear place in my heart, and Majora's Mask, which I find better than OoT in pretty much every category, be it combat, music, characters and story.

He does talk.

In Wind Waker he says COME ON!

And of course he's always wondering what Ganon's up to.

I meant more than that... Like... ACTUAL CONVERSATIONS....

but then how can the player relate to him if he's a faggot

also OoT has aged fine and is just as playable as it ever was, unlike Mario 64 for example

I personally dont like Oot that much. Especially after what Bongo Bongo did to me.

Seriously, how are you supposed to take a boss named BONGO BONGO seriously!?!?!?

Whats it gonna do to yer rep when you say he whipped you three times like a 2 dollar hoe?

Well, in the games it's implied that Link does speak from time to time. It just happens offscreen, when he's relaying information to other people.

Either that or he just goes running and yelling and they manage to understand him anyway.

"What's that Link? Little Timmy is stuck in the well?!"
