aaaagh, I can't get the update ;-;. Whenever I log in nothing changes or downloads or anything, it just stays the same as it was the last time I played.

Hey guys.

I'm interested in purchasing Minecraft, but I'm a bit worried because when I play the free Classic Mincraft, I get HORRIBLE FPS even on normal-sized maps, and it's pretty bad even on the smallest map size. And I know the maps in the Alpha are pretty daisies big.

So does anyone have any solutions for improving FPS? Please, if you can, use laymans terms, as I am in no way a computer whiz. :<
