The first Mega Man game I ever played was Mega Man X. I didn't even know there was a Mega Man before him until several years later.

Did anyone use the sub-weapons in the levels other then where suggested/needed?

I've played a few Mega Man games, but I'd like to play more.

Really, it's the webcomics that make me love Mega Man. Well, it's just MSPaint Masterpieces.

Also, Protomen: Discuss.

I've only played Mega Man once for like half an hour. But I do want to play more.

anyone play the megaman games for the gameboy? That was some hot shit right there.

Megaman Killers that were actually easier than the normal robot masters,
The mega arm, Tango, stardroids. Good times.

I had 'Mega Man X: Command Mission' on the GC. Bow to my awesomeness.

Yeah, Mach Jentra was too hard to beat because I'd sold all my 'Ice Parts'. I should try playing it again someday - it wasn't bad really.

I never had an issue with the 'Battle Network' games - I kinda liked them actually, but never played them through to completion.

I still need to beat the 'Dr. Wily's Fortress' on MM9. I have, however, completely beaten a lot of the earlier MM games.

I just wish they'd bring some MMX games to the Virtual Console in the UK - I've had some on emulator but it's not the same as playing them on a console.

I honestly found all of the gameboy Mega Man games to be utter failures. There's simply no reason to play I to IV on the GB, because they're just watered down versions of the NES games. V wasn't a copy of 5 (IV was 4 and 5 together), so it's not AS bad as the others.

Command Mission was pretty neat, I wouldn't mind another one.

The Mega Man classic series is for me, since it's what started it all, and I think it's ridiculous how Capcom is coming up with all this new "Mega Man" BS. There's hardly anything related to the original Mega Man in the newest series; "Mega Man" himself is just a fusion between some kid and an alien, or at least that's how I see it.

The first Mega Man game I played was Mega Man II for the Game Boy. It was some strange mashing of Mega Man 2 and 3. Also, it called Crash Man "Clash Man" for some reason.

The names Crash Mand and Clash Man have ALWAYS been confusing. I, myself, am not sure which is the right name, though I'm pretty sure it's Crash Man.

The same thing was with Dr. Light and Dr. Right.

Well I... uh... yeah, I guess you're right. The first megaman game I played was V, so I guess it's more of a sentimental thing. That made it confusing playing the others though, I didn't know who Wily was or why his mega buster wasn't a fist. Same thing happened with Marioland and Link's Awakening...

An interesting read explaining the Clash, Crash, Light and Right stuff
http://www.topics-mag.com/edition15/tra ... -and-r.htm

Fun Mega Man 2 fact: Normal mode is actually easy mode, while difficult mode is normal mode. The Japanese version of the game didn't have a difficulty choice, it only came with difficult mode. Capcom thought Mega Man 2 would be too hard for us non-Japanese people, so they added in "normal" mode which makes things a hell of a lot easier, but still giving us the regular game under "difficult". Everything has half health on normal mode.

Rabid loves Mega Man so much, he actually respects Command Mission, a game that is a sequel to the nth power, is polygonal, and is an RPG. He even said he wouldn't mind a sequel. What?
