I'm scared of this game.

Played the Minecraft Classic at the site for more than an hour, didn't seem like it was that long. Built a house, wanted to build extensions to it. Make it bigger. Taller. More complex. I'll hold off buying it till I'm done games like New Vegas, etc.

Opinions?

My brother goes on about this game a fair amount, and he's made me want to have a go as well. :V He's letting me use his account, although I haven't started playing just yet, since I'm watching a couple of tutorial videos and whatnot first. I'll be playing it on my laptop, so is it any harder to control with a touchpad, or should I use a USB mouse?

Seriously though, It'd be pretty cool if he got on board, his style might fit in fairly well. Would be hard to choose between him and C418 though, they're both quite talented.

Also, if there is an AZ server up, I would love to join you guys, as my own snow world is getting pretty boring.

I'm doing the exact same thing right now. Its not too much different, but I recommend the mouse. Otherwise, you have to stop moving, hit ctrl and then click on the touchpad to do anything. Whereas a mouse just needs the right-click button. I'm actually thinking of buying a mouse for this reason.

Wait, so what's the IP?

Are you keeping the SMP IP under wraps so the server doesn't get flooded or something? That makes sense I guess... But if members are allowed in, could someone PM me the address? I'd love to see what you guys are up to and maybe make a contribution of my own. :3

Whelp, finally got around to starting, and it's pretty fun so far. :V I've been on singleplayer mode and I spent a while restarting so I'd get a world I liked.

The very first thing I did was fall into a hole and injure myself. Then I fell into a waterfall thing and drifted along a stream for a bit.

Yyyeeaahhh it took me a while to get used to the controls. :B

The server Dimm has is still very buggy because of the software, and there are still some bugs in multiplayer we'd like to have worked out. I don't know if he'll ever open it up to AZ (it's just him, myself, and an IRL bro right now).

However if we do open it up at some point then I'll give it to you guys, as long as you don't go spreading it around all over the place.

Alright, no problem. Once you're confident in the stability of the server, and feel like putting up with our shenanigins, the IP won't go any further than the PM.
