ok dude this movie is going to rock. what i want to know is what the hell is that big robot that has only 1 wheel. i talked to my brothers and they say megatron comes back and jazz was whiched out with a new robot called jolt or something. I belive the huge robot is unicron but no one wants to think the planet transformer is looking like that.

Original Transformers movie sucked and so will this one

I really liked the first one, but since I wasn't into the original cartoons (90'z child) I had nothing to base it off from.
Still even I could tell that they developed the plot around the Humans more than the Robots, even though they're supposed to be the secondary characters.

I'll give it a chance. The first movie was a fun summer film and maybe this will be better.

Transformers 2 can die in a fire, I'm not even going to bother watching the trailer. The first one did enough damage to me.

Now excuse me while I go watch the original cartoons while cuddling my Waspinator action figure.

There's almost more robots in the minute long trailer I saw than the entire first movie. I am excited.

I can tell you have really good taste.

I don't understand why people like the original cartoons. As far as I can tell they were nothing but 30 minute long commercials. Same with TMNT, Thundercats, and other cartoons from the late 80's - 90's.
The movies aren't that interesting either, the only thing I liked about the movie was that hot actress who co-starred with Shia Labeouf (I guess Shia didn't ruin it either, he's a really good actor).

Yes, the begining of G-1 was really bad, but once the show was established, it just became awesome. If you've seen the '85 cartoon film, you'd know what I'm talking about. Then stuff like Beast Wars came along and made it even more awesome.


The first live action film was a total bust, sure, but it was more of an introductory film than anything. I'm hoping this one will be a lot better than the first.

I predict you're going to have thousands of angry fanboys smashing down your door and brutally killing you in about 5 seconds.

Question: Have you ever bothered to watch more than a few minutes of any of those shows?

I didn't even grow up with them, but comparing most of them to the shows I grew up with... goddamn, I wish I was born earlier.

I dunno. I watched them but I never really got into them.
The only cartoon from that era that I really enjoyed was Captain Planet. He's a fond memory. Although what the hell with the Hispanic kid having the power of heart? That was so lame.

As long as they don't make a Beast Wars movie within my life time then they will fear nothing.
