Description of Character: The last member of team G-37, a team that went on an expedition to the uncharted north; a mission Cliff hadn't taken part in. Almost everyone believes they were killed, but he is too stubborn to let himself believe it.
Personality: Cliff is a pokemon of simple desires. The only thing he needs for motivation is a small spot of cheddar and maybe a little recognition, then he can go to bed content. He's not out to prove anything, he's just there for the sake of being there. However, this simplicity leads him to do things that the general public frowns upon. He is in no way evil, just a bit gullible.
AOI: His badge is a pair of dog tags, a tradition among his old team.

Oliver was shocked. A princess? Of the Blazekendos no less!
"It is my pleasure!" he said, bowing, "Ah, my name is Oliver."

"There's no need." Pausing for a minute to look at the board, reading the board at the team names."If we are going to work together, what shall our team name be?"

[Oh god, I leave for a few hours and there's five new pages. Falconer and I still have dibs on the canopy, right?]

Cliff stared out at the dead sea. No ships, no boats, not even a Lapras. Today marked the seventh year anniversary of the day his friends had left him to go on their little adventure. The skeptics who told him they were never coming back were starting to influence him. What if they were dead? Maybe the north had overpowered his comrades.

Or maybe not. Smeargle was too smart, Ghastly too intimidating, and Treeko? Too violent. They'll come back, all he had to do was wait.

Wait for over.... seven.... years.... Yeah, all he needed to do was wait.

But on the off-chance they do show up today, they'll have a field day with how much of a slacker he is. He can't have that, not if he was the one left behind to keep their team's reputation alive. He'll get some new recruits today, pump some fresh blood into the mix.

However, life had different plans in mind.

"I'm sorry bro. Your team is gone. We can't let you remain in a solo team anymore. We've already filled out the paperwork. As of now, Team G-37 is officially terminated. There's... Nothing more for you here." Cliff could control himself under the worst conditions, but if there was anything that could take it's toll on him, it was this. He grabbed his badge, not once removed from around his neck, and yanked it off.

"I guess I'll just go out and wait some more. That's all I'm good for at this point isn't it?" Tears ran down his face as he let his tags fall to the floor.

"Cliff.." The pelipper called, a futile effort.

Cliff stood by the walls of the post office, deep in thought. Young teams, so full of life, came and went, stopping only to grab a mission from the message board and leave as quickly as they came. it reminded him of why he got into this business in the first place. He'd always seen those days as a blessing. They reminded him of what smeargle used to say: "No matter how bad things get, they can always get worse. If you don't like it, then get up and do something about it."

And then Cliff was dead, he no longer embodied the naive mind that defined him. He was replaced by an invincible young pokemon who allows disappointment, shame, and despair to wash away with the tides. He would find a new team, one that he will fight for in order to keep the spirit of G-37 alive.

"I've got it! Blazewater would be a fine name. Now, off to Declivities Caverns, unless you have a better idea I suppose."
Oliver found himself greeting a new kind of...excitement. He decided to go along with it anyway.

"Hmmm....interesting.No, that sounds fine. Let's go to the store first. I'll lead the way."Gormlaith started walking with a strut in her step.

Oliver quickly followed behind the princess, and he bought 4 Oran Berries, 2 Cheris and 2 Pechas. Figuring that would be enough, he payed for it.
"Now I say we split this evenly in case we ever get seperated. Sound good to you?"

Dart then simply said, "Alright, then that makes us now super best friends, and as best friends we need a cool team name. Got any ideas?"


[But the difference is he was standing behind me and we were on one computer, and we didn't want to keep logging in and out because it takes FOREVER he decided what to say, it's just posted under my name is all. Yeah, we're like best buds IRL, we hang out A LOT.]

Tik-Tak the Trapinch, newly arrived in Serene Village, and eager for an opportunity to grow as a warrior, wasted no time in checking out the Quest Board in the Explorer's Tree Guild.

She saw that many quests were already under way, but found it difficult to tell who was on given quests, and who was actively seeking partners for assistance in any one quest.

"I think I saw someone heading that way too." Meowth scratched his coin.
"I have a rawst berry... Maybe we should take some more berries before going?"
