[s]It's been a whilze, AZ[/s]
Anyways, seeing as the anti-piracy method for Pokemon BW involved your Pokemon gaining no experience I figured I'd make a challenge out of this run. I'm aware there is a patch that gets rid of the anti-piracy method but I decided to see how far I could get into the run if my Pokemon were unable to get any XP at all. So far I have gotten three badges and have uploaded videos of the last two gym battles. I did not record the first one because I didn't decide to start recording my battles until after the first gym, besides it is a very straightforward battle that the level 10 monkey you get is capable of soloing the battle with some ease(As long as the leader's first pokemon doesn't use Cheer Up more than once)
Anyways, here are the current list of videos:
Battle with Aloe(Second gym leader)
Notes:
-I had to play really defensively for this battle
-Dongoro(That stoned Poliwag) has an Impish nature which boosts defense which helps a lot in this battle.
Number of tries: 4
Battle with Atei(Third gym leader)
Number for attempts: 2(Although the first battle I couldn't even make it past his first pokemon which ended up in me having to replace 3 of my party members prior to the next attempt)
Notes:
-This battle was actually pretty easy in comparison to the one against Aloe
-Intimidate+Screech is pretty awesome for this fight
-I gave Troll the Futsude a Berry so that I didn't have to waste a turn using a potion
-Dageki for top tier, how he still manages to be useful against a Pokemon that's 9 levels higher than him is pretty awesome(Well, I guess a reason for his wtfbases is probably because he doesn't have any evolutions but still)
-By the end of the battle I noticed I only needed 2 screeches for Fire Fang to 1HKO the first and last pokemon that Atei used.
-This battle involved no turtling
-I accidentally wasted a Hyper Potion due to not paying attention >___>
Anyways, I'll be definitely uploading all the major/gym leader battles. I'll try to upload some rival battles but try not to expect them all the time.
